Challenge

The client experienced a pipe break in their house, which caused damage to the hardwood floors and partially collapsed the drywall ceiling. It's important to dry the hardwood floors in place to save both money and the inconvenience of having to remove and replace them. Additionally, the client needed the pipe fixed promptly to restore water throughout the house.

Solution

We immediately responded to the water damage by setting up specialty drying equipment to dry the hardwood floors. We also created a smaller drying chamber to help speed up the drying process. Additionally, we arranged for a plumber to make the necessary repairs and restore water throughout the entire house. Personal belongings were carefully removed from affected areas to facilitate the mitigation process. We cleaned up collapsed drywall and cut out additional sections as needed for proper mitigation. Thanks to our quick response and the use of specialty drying equipment, we were able to salvage the hardwood floors.
